One major component of the mission of Paws Across Oswego County is to move towards 100% pre-adoption spay/neuter. We are encouraged by recent state legislation that establishes guidelines to encourage this result. In the meantime, we know that there are those in our community who can otherwise afford to adopt an animal and provide routine medical care as well as food, shelter and love but not the sometimes high cost of the spay or neuter of their companion pet.
